Linkedin is a great networking tool that connects businesses, entrepreneurs, executives, and individuals on a daily basis. It’s a wonderful tool, but only when you can access your account.

The strangest, most bizarre occurrence happened when I received 11 simultaneous e-mails notifying me that inmails, messages, and group submissions were terminated because of a severed connection by either party.

At the time, I got the messages on my blackberry and did not have access to a computer. Once I got to my desk I ran to log in to Linkedin only to find that they no longer recognized my e-mail or password.

I thought maybe my password was wrong so I requested them to send me a new password. To my surprise, they no longer had any evidence of my profile’s existence.

Now whatever the reason, whatever the circumstance, this has got to be one of the poorest usability and service flaws I have ever experienced. How could they have no information about my account and no number for me to contact if there was a flagged concern? I am a paying customer which makes this even more outrageous and it has been proven quite difficult to get in touch with them.

I click on the Ask Customer Service which is basically a “contact us” form.

Pretty Straightforward, right?

I did this a few times and still did not receive that “confirmation email” they promised. Every system has glitches but there must be a quick mitigating process to undo the damage. And apparently, I’m not the only one that has experienced this VERY same issue. I will be contacting their evangelist Mario Sundar with this issue. Have you had problems with Linkedin?
