You can make use of both, it does not matter as long as you have the right keyword density.

The other thing is that we should learn to get maximum from each paragraph or idea.

This can be done by making sure that you have a good foundation.

The length and tone of copy needs to vary across the sales funnel - start short then increase as peole move through the decision-making process. It is not an either/or questions, it is a 'when to say what' question. I've put a post on my blog on this very subject. I'd also say that in this interconnected world, decent long copy with a search strategy behind it is king.

Long copies are not that bad. I think that if you have enough information and the flair then it does not matter what kind of a copy you make.

But if your unsure then the best way to go is write short copies and get it over with.

I believe short copies are the best. The attention span among internet users is not that great so this seems to be a logical choice.

Short copies ensure that you get the points across quickly and sharply. It remains longer in the reader's head.

I have to agree with a earlier comment.
On the net people are just browsing. A headline
picture will grab there attention first and they will then start to read.If its to long they just move on to the next site.

As for the sales copy being clearly marked I noticed some sales copy do not clearly mark their price. You have to hunt for it. You have to read the sales copy to find it. I prefer to scan to see if I want it and in the scanning I look for a price.

In my search for the price, If I have to look and find no price I will leave. If I find a price and it is too much now, I usually go back when I do have the money. Why is it some people don't clearly mark the price of their product? I can understand a service and price will depend on the level of service provided (ex. web design). But what about the fixed price product? Is hiding the price a tactic that actually works?

I'd say that, as important as the deciding how long your copy should be is deciding how to present it. Readers on the net tend to prefer prefer short, snappy paragraphs. If it's a long piece it is likely that most readers will scan the page until they find the info they're looking for, so different sections should be clearly titled with the right tag!
