Surprising considering I havent even heard of a couple of those sites before.

They are well known within their own markets. Gymboree for instance is a leading offline and online retailer of children and infant clothing. So depending on where and what you shop for and are searching for, these companies may or may not pop up. But I found the most interesting thing is that lanebryant.com is no longer on the list of the top 10. I believe last year it was among the top 5. Many businesses have caught on to the success of plus size retailers, and I think Lane Bryant didn’t have much competition before which accounted for it’s top ranks.

The list keeps on changing. We are noticing that more companies are getting a lot more focused on conversion optimization efforts which might explain the changes.

This chart seems a little misleading. What factors went to conversion factor? Is this PPC? Organic? CTR? I know that a couple of my sites converted in certain categories better than the Popcorn Factory. I checked the linked source and the same.

Chris, I also have some better converting sites. But take a look at the original reports, I am sure we don’t face the other needs to get in the list ;-)
