@RedEvo I am glad you enjoy it. Some clients don't want to hear the truth. That is fine except that it will eventually catch up with them and hurt them in the pocket.

@Terry Reeves very well put. While the cost of testing are so little almost two thirds of business are yet to test any of their online marketing efforts.

I am frequently confronted with business types who say "testing a new site/page/product/service is too expensive and time consuming..."

Bull!

Open a Google Adwords account, select some targeted keywords to bid on, send targeted traffic to the page/product/service ( never the site in general ) you want to test and compare against known data or test against other variations of traffic target.

A 24 to 48 hour test in Google will cost very little and will provide a tremendous amount of information you did not know just 24 to 48 hours ago.

Those who do not test their marketing are on the road to failure. For some it is a long trip, for others, it's just a quick trip around the corner.

I love people who tell it like it is. This is a great list but I'll bet you people will just ignore it in their quest for the golden arrow.

Online success requires hard graft, that's the bit most people miss. They simply build a zero effort website then expect to rake in the money.

Webland is a awash with broken dreams because people won't follow solid simple advice like that in this post.
