This is going to be a fun, new series at the Invesp blog. Instead of focusing on landing page optimization best practices and good design, I will go the complete opposite route. I will show you bad, bad, bad landing page designs.

Disclaimer: we all make mistakes and we all ignored some best practices now and then. However, sometimes these landing pages are full of mistakes that I cannot help myself but wonder about the brains behind them. For the most part, the post will contain little text or description. In theory bad design should be too obvious :)

Every now and then I look at landing pages designed to sell “landing page optimization” service. So, the landing page of a landing page optimization company. If a company that provides optimization service is not capable of designing a good landing page for itself, why would a client trust them or even pay them to design his own landing page. They were going for the shock & awful strategy.

Maybe they found they converted more by having 2 buttons to confuse visitors to click on at least one of them.

They forgot to add a button “Send” may be three buttons will be better :)
